Who wants to earn credits again? Click to get the great CREDIT update!

No, we didn't forget about credits. A week hasn't gone by since we switched to the new site that someone has asked about them. Now it's time to reveal that we're starting work on the brand new credit system!

We actually haven't been sitting on our hands when it's come to credits. In the past year we've created a prototype system but it was being used internally by the good folks that work on FreeOnes. Now we're in the position we can take the system we created and scale it up so that all of you can use it as well!

When will the credit system be done? If you're watching the FreeOnes Site Updates, you'll see that it's been added to the planning for the next 2 weeks. It won't be completely finished in 2 weeks, BUT I should be able to see the system in some sort of working fashion on our test server over the next 2 weeks!

What is the new credit system like? Honestly, to you guys it'll be a lot like the old credit system.Report a bad link and it gets deleted? You get credits. Suggest babe info that's accepted? You get credits. Etc and so on. However, under the hood the credit system will be a lot more flexible. We'll be able to give credits for submitting links, submitting new babes, etc and so on. I can also give custom amounts of credits for things like contests, or subtract credits for things like contest entry or auctions.

Will I be able to earn credits for things I do on the board? Haven't gotten there yet. Let me get the core system built and a few things you can earn credits from added and we'll talk.

What will we be able to do with earned credits? Again, a lot of the same things as before. Buy video downloads (if you don't have a Premium account), get a premium account subscription, perhaps unlock a premium theme, etc.

Will I be able to see a transaction history of credits added and subtracted? Yes, you'll have a transaction history just like before including being able to see what credits are pending.

What about spending them on bought content? This, unfortunately, probably won't see a return this year. If it does, it'll be at the very end of the year. But it's still our intention of bringing back all of the myFreeOnes photo galleries so you can see your old bought content and/or buy new content.

What about the credits I had before you switched sites? Once the new system is up, running and stable, we'll see about being able to credit your account with the credits you had before.

Once we get the credits back in working order, we can take a look at this. I'm not sure if Mr. FreeOnes wants to do phsyical items again or stick 100% virtual.

Oh, I get it. Someone with a degree, but no practical experience, is waving their hand and telling you to get it done, and doesn't want to hear exactly what it all involves, they just want what they want, when they want it. I have worked for people like that......it makes you want to do really bad things to them with a pair of pliers, and an exacto knife.

I E-mailed you about an order I made from the shop just before the site changed. I havn't recieved my order - but those credits is gone. I do not want that order anymore, but I do want my credits back if possible!
