TV DCEU Shows (Arrowverse, Peacemaker, Titans, etc)

The MCEU might be king of the movies, but DC has always had the stronger TV shows.
Just started Peacemaker (Suicide squad spinoff) and it's pretty good! I love the humor in the writing.

I have yet to watch Peacemaker. The Flash is good and Arrow was, too. I haven't seen many episodes of Stargirl, but I did like what I have seen. I haven't watched any Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Superman & Lois, Titans (the early footage of Robin's "Fuck Batman!" turned me off), or Doom Patrol (though the Morrison run of the comic is phenomenal).

I'm still waiting for Peacemaker to hit a channel I have access too. It does look like it could be interesting.

I've sort of given up on watching all the other shows though. It's like keeping up with comic books, they're all mixed in with each other now, with crossovers and guest appearances. I'm sure at some point I'll pick them all up and see what happens to who.

Yeah, there is A LOT of shows to keep up with, even within the Arrowverse alone. I remember I kept up until they added Legends, but at its peak there were SIX freaking shows A/F/LoT/SG/BW/BL, at which point it became a little much. And with Superman & Lois replacing Arrow, the show count is still up there. The only time I watch all the shows is during the crossovers, which are pretty cool, seeing so many shows come together for an annual event.

The writing is fading though. I was a huge fan of the Flash when it first started, but after season 4, especially with all the writer's/showrunner's changes you could feel the quality decline. The worst was how they increasingly didn't give a shit about explaining the plot resolution, where everything was just resolved by "Speedforce magic", instead of creative solutions by the characters.

Peacemaker is turning out to be a lot of fun. There's a good mix of action, comedy, campiness and even a little emotional drama. Gunn is really showing why so many actors stuck up for him when he was about to get cancelled.

I Netflix binged "Legends of Tomorrow." I liked it. Some hottie actresses! 😛

I used to watch Supergirl; I forget why I stopped - other Kryptonians?. Arrow I stopped when they introduced the multiverse, and dead characters returned. Flash when he created the alternate universe by saving his Mom. I ALSO got sick of all the references to "speed force.." In the comics, he got the speed from having shelves of chemicals fall on him, that were electrified by a lightning bolt..
